Hello and welcome to Domestic Felicity! I’m Anna, an Orthodox Jewish homeschooling mother living a simple life in Israel with my family.

On this blog you will find my insight and tips on simple living, working from home, stretching a small income, homeschooling, health and nutrition, as well as assorted slice of life stories and tributes to my yarn addiction.

You can also check out the links to my books, both fiction and nonfiction, in the sidebar of this blog. I hope you stick around and look forward to hearing from you.

Why “Domestic Felicity”?

Domestic felicity is an expression found in the books of Jane Austen, one of my all-time favorite authors. It is sometimes used in ironic context, but I love this expression and consider it to be something of an overall outlook on the whole of living and working at home and its surroundings.
