In between all the rush of unpacking and preparing for the High Holy Days, we are getting to know our new neighborhood.
There are lots of beautiful green nooks and trees that are great for climbing.
Now that I have actually made a dent in the boxes and have all the essentials on hand, I look forward to making progress on this weedy patch of land and seeing what we can grow and do there.
I will post more updates soon!
We are helping daughter with her repo house…and about all that can pass for a yard is dandelions plus gobs of overgrown shrubs and plants…more than plenty work…my empathy for the mess you have to fix there…oh well…the hare did not win the race, but the tortoise did…so we shall get there, bit by bit, eh?

That’s just it – do a bit every day, then look back in a couple of months and you’ll be amazed at what you were able to accomplish. I plan to photograph the process.

Wow! You have your work cut out for you in that yard! But, what a lovely park and playground. Even at my age, I love to swing – and I’m not beyond sailing down the sliding board, either!

I love to swing too! I do it all the time when people aren’t looking. 😉
